Jade is a multidisciplinary, biracial, queer, artist currently living in Peterborough/Nogojiwanong. They love exploring dualities, imperfection, and culture through visual arts and music. She particularly focuses on traditionally black arts such as playing the djembe drum and steel pan to explore and connect with her history and culture. They often use visual arts as a way to explore trauma and different experiences. They often use found objects and aspects of nature in their work.
